2017年10月24日，《美国新闻与世界报道》（U.S.News & World Report）公布了2018年最新版全球大学排名（Best Global Universities Rankings）。在学科排名（Subject Rank）的计算机科学（Computer Science）排名中，北京邮电大学计算机学科得分（Subject Score）总计75分，位列全球第28名。

U.S.News世界大学排名

U.S.News世界大学排名属目前公认的比较权威的四类世界大学排名之一（其余三类为QS世界大学排名、泰晤士高等教育世界大学排名和ARWU世界大学学术排名）。

本次排名的排名标准（Ranking indicator）主要参照了以下参数：

研究的全球影响力（Global research reputation）

地区研究影响力（Regional research reputation）

出版物（Publications）

出版书籍（Books）

学术交流（Conferences）

标准化论文引用影响指数（Normalized citation impact）

引用频次（Total citations）

世界高频引文中的文献出现次数（Number of publications that are among the 10 percent most cited）

世界高频引文中的文献比例（Percentage of total publications that are among the 10 percent most cited）

国际合作（International collaboration）

高频引用论文的数量（Number of highly cited papers that are among the top 1 percent most cited in their respective field）

高频引用文献的比例（Percentage of total publications that are among the top 1 percent most highly cited papers）
